OVERVIEW
Welcome to The Putting Room. These terms (the "Terms") apply to the store and website at theputtingroom.com (the "Services") and to every order you place with us. "We", "us" and "our" mean Grid and Compass Ltd, trading as The Putting Room. The Services are hosted by Shopify, which enables us to provide them to you.

By using the Services or placing an order you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

SECTION 1 - WHO WE ARE
The Putting Room is a business based in the United Kingdom at 195-197 Wood Street, London E17 3NU. The Putting Room is a trading name of Grid and Compass Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17376527, whose registered office is Suite RA01 at that address. You can contact us at hello@theputtingroom.com. We are not currently registered for VAT.

SECTION 2 - USING THE SERVICES
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You agree that the information you give us when ordering is accurate and complete, and you are responsible for keeping any account details secure.

SECTION 3 - OUR PRODUCTS
Our products are golf practice aids for home use. Photos are as accurate as we can make them, but colours and finishes may vary slightly. We may change or discontinue products at any time.

SECTION 4 - ORDERS AND CONTRACT
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We accept your order, and a contract is formed, when we send you the order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, a price was shown in error, or we cannot verify payment; if we have already taken payment we will refund it in full.

SECTION 5 - PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices are shown in pounds sterling to UK customers and in your local currency where available elsewhere, and are the total price you pay. Delivery to the UK, EU, US and Canada is free. Our prices include import duties and taxes; if you are asked to pay any import charges on delivery, email us with your order number and we will refund them. No VAT is added at checkout. Payment is taken in full when you place the order. If we discover a pricing error after you order, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund.

SECTION 6 - DELIVERY
We offer free tracked delivery to the UK, EU, US and Canada. UK orders usually arrive within 3 to 7 working days; orders elsewhere usually arrive within 5 to 12 working days (up to 15 for Eastern Europe and islands). Sets with more than one item can arrive in separate parcels. Delivery times are set out on our Delivery & returns page and are estimates, not guarantees. If we have not delivered within 30 days of your order you may cancel and receive a full refund. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive them.

SECTION 7 - YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL (CHANGE OF MIND)
As a consumer you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods; we extend this to 30 days. To return an item, email hello@theputtingroom.com with your order number. Return it within 14 days of telling us, unused and in its original condition and packaging. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item and for it arriving safely, so we recommend a tracked service. We will refund the price of the item within 14 days of receiving it back (or of you providing proof of posting, if earlier), using your original payment method. We may reduce the refund if the item has been handled beyond what is needed to check it. Full details are on our Delivery & returns page.

SECTION 8 - FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will replace the item or refund you in full, and we will cover the return postage. After 30 days you still have the right to a repair, replacement or refund for faulty goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

SECTION 9 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Putting Room name, logo, website design, product photography, descriptions and other content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission. Shopify's name and logo are trade marks of Shopify.

SECTION 10 - CONTENT YOU SEND US
If you send us reviews, photos, comments or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display it in connection with our business, including for marketing. You confirm you have the right to send it and that it is not unlawful, offensive or infringing. We may remove any content at our discretion.

SECTION 11 - ACCEPTABLE USE
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the Services, attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy content without permission, or use the Services to harass, defraud or mislead anyone.

SECTION 12 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND TOOLS
The Services may include links to third-party websites or tools that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

SECTION 13 - ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
We try to keep all information on the Services accurate, but there may occasionally be typographical errors or inaccuracies, including in pricing and availability. We reserve the right to correct them and to cancel any affected orders as described in Sections 4 and 5.

SECTION 14 - OUR LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for any business losses, as we supply products for private use only. Our total liability to you in connection with an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

SECTION 15 - RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
The Services are powered by Shopify. Your purchase is made with The Putting Room, not with Shopify. Shopify is not responsible for the products or for any sale between you and us.

SECTION 16 - EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal strikes, severe weather or supplier failure. We will tell you if this happens and, if the delay is substantial, you may cancel and receive a full refund for any goods not yet dispatched.

SECTION 17 - GENERAL
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. We may transfer our rights under these Terms to another business, but this will not affect your rights. These Terms are between you and us; no one else has any right to enforce them.

SECTION 18 - CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to that order. The current version is always available on this page.

SECTION 19 - GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your local courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country you live in.
